Boy! One really realizes just what is meant by "war is hell" when hearing these stories. Unfortunately, I've beeen told, one of the Bayne descendents went on a rage a few generations ago and apparently set fire to all of his mother's family history - the person who archived everything I would love to know! I'll just keep digging!
