Largest Henry Reenacting Group?

It is always neat to see the faces on those that have gone up against a Henry rifle but it is even better to see the faces of those that come up against a Henry Company. At Franklin in 2005 we had 11 Henrys. the largest number of Henrys we have had was 20 Henrys and 1 Spencer carbine at Resaca, GA in the 1990s. That was sure some firepower and made an impression on the Rebs. In the early 1990s I headed up the "National Henry Rifle Company". We usually portrayed the 7th Illinois Veteran volunteer Infantry or the 66th llinois Infantry. We always had plenty of ammunition, usually around 800 rounds per man for a national event or even more. I always found it interesting those with a Henry shooting plastic 5 in 1 blanks and had maybe 40 for a reenactment, that is another story.

Victory thru rapid fire!!!
