Re: Largest Henry Reenacting Group?

.44 Henry,

We did a small reenactment and living history at Fort Pocahontas on the James River (The Action at Wilson's Wharf) a few weeks ago. There was some fedearl dismounted cavalry that had Henrys. We were setting up on Saturday morning getting our ammo chest and gun in place when a squad of these fellows came across the field drilling. In good humor I hollered out Battery Fire! One of them looked at me and smiled then simulated cocking his rifle about 8 times. I grinned and told him "point taken". Now if I had only had a canister round in the barrel. haha.
