One of my fellow members of CSA Florida, Daytona camp,has a Bowie type knife [ not a sword ]stamped at the hilt:

ROTHERWOOD IRON WORKS stamped in an arch shape,
with CSA 1864 under the arch.
The stamping does not appear to be one letter at a time.

I believe it to be authentic.
