It is a deflection from the hard debate on Ben’s flag in the last week or so. Jim is from Texas so smoked brisket, Tex-Mex cooked pig and fried food are basic staples.
Now if you want to add in some Texas brisket, some Lou-easy-anna cajun crawfish,Maryland blue crab, some of that soldier’s joy, cat daddy, Ole’ corn likker and a little fiddle music by Allison Krauss or the Carolina Chocolate Drops to the menu of real NC BBQ (cooked pig is the only real BBQ), I’ll be there, come hell or high water.
