Flags and BBQ would be grand - and don't forget the beer! Bob Bradley is a fellow BBQ lover and has turned me on to a few places in Alabama - and one of my all-time fave places there is Johnny Rays' in B'Ham. Not only is their Q great so are their famous pies!

I gotta tell ya - Texas smoked brisket, if done right (and smoked for at least 20 hours), is great! So is Texas smoked sausage (from the Czechs and Germans who settled there years ago).

BBQ is anything good that can be smoked that is meat - and smoked turkey is great too!
