Although not mentioned on those sites, the 6th Ga was also at South Mountain, and at Ocean Pond (Olustee).

As an aside, I had two gg-grandfathers at Ocean Pond: John Barrett Everett and Benjamin F. Matthews of Upson County.

John Barrett Everett's brother, Joshua, was wounded at Deep Bottom (part of the Cold Harbor mess, I think,) and died in Chimbarazo Hospital at Richmond. He is buried in Hollywood Cemetery.

Looking at the roster for the 6th Ga, Co. I, I see Bullards (Charles, Henry, Ira, and Wiley), all of whom are my cousins. Wiley came home with the measles in 1862, and his whole family died from the disease.

I also see some Lamb cousins, unsure of the exact connection.

You might also like to know that the Everett-Bullard farm in Twiggs County is now on the National Register of Historic Places. It is now known as Rose Lane Plantation, and is a hunting / bed and breakfast.

Thanks for the information.
