To: ALL THOSE POSTING MESSAGES OR THAT ARE INTERESTED IN JOHN BARRETT EVERETT:

I am a historian and help to mark CSA graves. Is the grave of John Barrett Everett marked? Is so, I would like to visit this grave and place a flag on it. If not, I would offer my help in the ordering and placing of CSA marker on it, which is furnished free of charge by the VA.

There are a lot of this soldier' descemdamts that live in the Hawkinsville, GA area and some belong to the same church that I belong to. They are very tall, nice looking, kind, sweet spirited, christian, tremendous atletics, great educators in our church with the youth and a back bone of our community.

Also, I have two ancestor's on my mother's side of the family blown to pieces at the Battle of the Crater on July 30, 1864: Aaron Cain and Joel Cain both with the 22nd SC Reg, CSA out of Pickens Co., SC

I want to make sure this grave is marked.
