Cool to see my gg uncle, Patrick Henry Stovall was with the 40th. ( he is Marcellus' cousin) He is buried in New Orleans. His sister, Elizabeth Stovall Daniel, was m. to William Thomas Daniel that served with the 34th Ga. We have letters he wrote home and if I am remembering correctly some correspondence with Patrick. I know they saw each other in Vicksburg because he did talk about that. Anyway, interesting to hear about this group. I live near Dalton and will try to make plans to drop in.
