On page 25 Mr. Sutton gave a detailed story of how Gen Cobb sent a staff member to stop the men from getting water at a stream. From what he wrote this was after the men had been given permission from the Captains to get water.
Mr. Sutton made several other comments in the book that imply he had little respect for General Cobb.

He made positive comments about Gen Wofford and his leadership abilities and how well liked he was by the men.

He stated on page 36 that during their advance on Fredricksburg (after Chancellorsville) that Mclaws sent word to Wofford asking why he was so far in advance of the line? Sutton writes that Gen Wofford replied "If I had 50,000 Georgians I would not stop this side of Washington City."
