Correct. Wounded at Leet's Tanyard. His brother, Jeremiah, appeared to have been injured on the infamous day a few days later when the 6th, temporarily under the command of Nathan Bedford Forrest, ran into the front of the Union infantry and faught gallantly until the Confederate infantry could reach the scene. Although not 100% accurate, previous research indicates the 6th very likely was well supplied with uniforms from the nearby factory in Athens.
