Can anyone tell me anything about the combat at Camp Creek on Aug. 18, 1864, please? I am having no luck in finding anything about what exactly occurried there that day and where it is. Somewhere near Jonesboro? Selden Mercer Weaver, from Batesville , Arkansas was killed there that day according to family information. He may have been a lieutenant at the time. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
