Corporal Weaver was last recorded as having deserted near Brandon, Miss., February, 1864. His name does not reappear on the subsequent and last surviving company muster rolls.

Neither does his name appear on a list of officers of Company K.

Sept. & Oct, 1863, station of company, near Brandon, Miss.

Jan. & Feb., 1864, station of company, near Mobile, Ala.

July 31 to Aug. 31, 1864, station of company, near Jonesboro, Ga.

On the 1st of July my company in Breastworks on Kennesaw Mtn. on the night of 2d, marched about eight miles south of Marietta. On the 4th on Picket, sharp skirmishing on the night of the 5th, on the 6th marched about 12 miles, halted about two miles north of Chattahochee River, on 8th marched about four miles to the south side the River, on 14th marched to Morris Mills, on 19th Picket had sharp skirmishing, no loss in the Co. On 20th in Battle Peach Tree Creek, had four wounded, on the night of 21st, marched about three miles to one mile of Atlanta, on the 22nd, one man killed on fortifications. On 28th in Battle Lick Skillet Road, had one man killed and two wounded. On 1st Aug. in Breastworks at Atlanta, on 12th moved back in reserve, 12th to 18th in reserve, on 18th went to Love Joy Station by Rail Road, on 20th in Battle Love Joy Station, had one man wounded, went to Jonesboro, Ga. by Rail Road 21st, in camp at Jonesboro. My Co. on Pickett & on the night of 21st went to Atlanta by Rail & went into camp, on picket, on 28th went to Jonesboro by Rail Road, 30th marched about one & half miles west of Jonesboro, on 31st in Battle Jonesboro, no loss in the Co.
