Alan The information I have on Henry W F Worthy comes from his Service Records that I obtained from the Georgia Department of Archives and History. A cover letter dated May 8 1915 returned to the Commissioner of Pensions by the Adjutant General states the same information as his service records....Enlisted May 11 1861 On roll for July and August 1862,he was reported present. On Company Muster Roll for December 31 1861 to April 30 1862 He is shown Absent...Sick at Atlanta Hospital Henry was a School Teacher before going into service and taught school in Upson County after the War. I was wondering about the 1 year enlistment....had always seen on other records ....for duration of war. Henry was the younger Brother of My Greatgrand John H Worthy also a Civil War Vet
