Thanks again. I wasn't sure if during "Reconstruction" (I use that term loosely) Confederate veterans, their parents, spouses or dependents were entitled to pensions akin to their Federal counterparts. Your reply has silenced that notion. Because the majority of my research involves Union soldiers I've never had the need to pursue Confederate records until now.
