Thanks for the update on the Militia Roll. The 1850 Carroll County, GA census (family entered on two separate pages for some reason) indicated that he was born in SC. The 1860 census indicates he was born in GA and the 1870 Brooks County census (which I challenge you to find him in) indicates SC. His son Elias Rignal Duncan age 3 in 1860 is my great grandfather. Thanks again for not making me go to the library, lol.
