Sounds like the same soldier. My information shows Kasper G. Duncan of Company K, 50th Georgia, was wounded at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg. He received a severe hip wound during the disasterous Confederate assault against Fort Sanders on November 29, 1863, at Knoxville. He was probably left behind with many other Confederate casualties at Middle Brook Hospital when Longstreet withdrew from around the city. He was taken prisoner on December 5, 1863 and died at Middle Brook Hospital later that month or early 1864. He is buried near Knoxville, but I'm not aware of the exact location.
