Re: Ft Arbuckle, Beaverville, and Johnsonville

According to Muriel H Wright's book "The Oklahoma History", pp 81-82, the Miller Courthouse was located on the bank of Red River near the Shawneetown Crossing in present day McCurtain County. In the spring of 1830 the clerk's office of the courthouse burned and all records of Miller Co were lost.
