Yes I am interested in the involvement of the Plains/Prairie people. I thought what Anderson was giving was reliable in formation? I am confused? I have also studied eastern woodland people for years and know that there were many nations existing throughout the continent that had a wide variety of beliefs and cultural practices. (Yeah not everyone dressed like a Buffalo Bill Indian) There were something like twenty thousand Indian men serving from all over the east who went on campaign looking very much like their non Indian contemporaries. You posted really good pictures of some CSA allied Natives. I have also seen photos of other Natives from around the same time, in the the western theatre, who also served with the Confederacy and they were maintaining very strongly certain elements of their cultural traditions.....I dont think I am making this up.....I am glad this board is here....Its a good place to discuss and learn...
