Please review Users Profile. My fathers family was in the 3rd Mounted Infantry Regiment of Kentucky. All family data is provided to the Hickman Kentucky Library and the Kentucky Historical Society. It is my understanding that Jim Lewis will provide an article concerning this data in the CWRT of middle Tennessee. I understand you are also in a CWRT and I requested a copy be forwarded to you. I am interested in all data I can find on the Busharts, Company "L", 3rd Mounted Infantry Regiment of Kentucky, Kentucky Brigade and part of the Kentucky Orphans later transferred to the command of General Nathan Bedford Forrest, Forrest Cavalry Corps, March 10, 1864, and served for the remainder of the war. Glad to communicate with descendents of the 3rd. Hope to hear from you in the future.

Jim Bushart
