Greg : Seeking all available records of information on the 3rd Mounted Infantry of Kentucky and the associated and applied military information on the following ( All originally enlisted in the 12th Tennessee Infantry Regiment and were transferred to the 3rd after the battle of Shiloh into Company "L', 3rd Mounted Infantry regiment of Kentucky. On March 10th 1864 they again were transferred to the Forrest Cavalry Corps and remained in the Kentucky Brigade under General Buford until the end of the war):
