I am looking for information on Co. G, 3rd Ky Mtd Inf - also has been listed as Cav. I am looking for a history of the Company from 1864 to the close of the war. I am especially looking for photos or artist renderings. What little I have been able to locate hasn't been exactly clear. I have found that they were under the direction of Gen. Forrest at some point - is this true? If so, what would be the time frame? Thanks.
