What I have for George W. Feezor is "1st Confederate Cavalry Company B (also A) Born: 7/13/1842 Died: 1/4/1922"
Thanks for the info on W. F. Edwards - I didn't know he had other close family in the same company, I will definitely look into them now. I haven't gotten far into researching my Edwards line.
I do not have photos for any of these ancestors, this is why I am interested in any possible photographs of the troop or any of the soldiers in it during the war, lacking actual photos then hoping for artistic renderings.
I am most interested in Co. G, 3rd Ky Inf and their time with Gen. Forrest - but I will be looking for info on some Union troops as well for a few other ancestors later on.
Ida Mae Edwards (daughter of W.F. Edwards) married James Elwood Free. He was the son of my other Civil War ancestor, William H. Free. (I've often wondered how well that went over when the Yankee's son married the Rebel's daughter)
I have copies of his muster rolls and have: Enlisted as Pvt on 11 Aug 1862 in Paducah, KY - Co A, 15th Reg KY Cav, USA on 6 Oct 1862 Mustered out in Paducah, Ky 6 Oct 1863
