Mark.... Click this (may have to copy and paste) and read the story of James Patterson. My ggreatgrandfather Andrew Osborn is mentioned as well as a coule of your Esteps. The Edward Osborne it mentions the Esteps were living with was possibly Andrew's brother Edward. They spelled Osborn with and without a final "e" and sometimes as Osburn. The lady who wrote it may be correct. I have a different story from a Civil war Book on how Patterson and Andrew Osborn were killed but it had been taken from a newspaper Midland Methodist out of Nashville in 1920 edition.
