Thank you very much for the information. Due to the lateness in the war, information seems scarce concerning this 3rd brigade. I had assumed that it was to be composed entirely of dismounted cavalry regiments.

Do you know what infantry units may have been added to these 2 dismounted regiments to form a respectable brigade? Thomas' brigade included many exchanged infantry regiments, and perhaps some of these were to have been transferred.

I have "Military Reminscencs" by General Boggs, but strangely he does not refer to this command.
