the URL below seems to indicate that Miles Legion --> 9th LA Battalion --> Gober's LA Cavalry; the 9th LA Battalion and Gober's LA Cavalry were under Wirt Adams and John Griffith (my gg-uncle) in Mississippi it appears...

am guessing that Miles Legion may have interacted with Logan's Brigade in/around Port Hudson...?????
