Alan Pits are entitled Confederate

The rolls show that Joseph Antoine Pino (J.A.C.) was initially carried on the roll for Nov.1, 1862 to May 1, 1863 and the second roll from May 1, to December 31, 1863 shows that he was enlisted June 23 1863 at Clinton La.
by Capt. Bryant and was killed either 6 or 7 December 1863.From the copy it is difficult to state specifically either 6 of 7?. As you have stated in your book Company A of Miles Legion never accepted assignment to any other unit and this appears to be the case here. Thanks again for your help. Ernest.
