I'm not an expert on the placement of all of the units. I have noted that the map-maker (Steven Stanley) placed the 8th North Carolina in the middle of Hay's Brigade line advancing up Cemetery Hill. I wonder what the source of his information is? I have relied, until now, on Harry Pfanz' Gettysburg: Culp's Hill & Cemetery Hill (UNC Press, 1993).

I thought Stanley's map was a nice compact layout and one easy to follow when walking this side of the battlefield. This is a Civil War Preservation Trust map, so I assume it is reasonably accurate. Do you know Steven Stanley?
