Re: Daniel Lady Farm at Gettysburg

Hi,I'm a member of the Binghamton CWRT. The 137th NY Vol. Reg. was formed here under the command of Col. David Ireland. I'm sure you know that the 137th was on the extreme right of the line in Greene's Brigade on Culp's Hill. Originally from Syracuse, the home of the 149th also on Culp's Hill. They were joined at the hip with the 137th through the end of the war.
The map you show of the attack on Culps Hill from Daniel Ladys Farm has Williams instead of Nicholl's Brigade. I know Williams commanded the brigade but why is Nicholl's named for the brigade on most of the maps?
I would be happy to get all the information I can from you Rebel Fellers on the attack on Culps Hill.
