Yes, the best information available is that the brigade order from left to right (from the Confederate perspective) was 8-7-9-6-5 Louisiana. The other items have to do with how Jones and Nicholls brigades switched their positions, and also the placement of Jones' regiments to support the artillery prior to the charge. I do in fact like the map presentation but without a more accurate representation of the units and their movements, the information presented is rather misleading. Of course such a project to locate the many units during the course of the battle is a lifelong endeavor and is subject to different interpretation but I hope to live long enough to complete my version as sort of a baseline on which others can improve upon in the future. Bachelder's maps, for instance, have stood for more than a century but we have more comprehensive information now to make substantial improvements upon his extraordinary work. Regards, Tom
