John Knighton filed a Pension application for his service in the Crescent Regiment but I have not been able to find any record of his actual service in Company G. Also Nathaniel Erwin Kendrick also for a pension for his service in "Col. Hyatt and Capt Cally's" Crescent Regiment. I have not found a service record for Nathaniel either. Is there a reason that no service records could be found for these two men or should I assume they never served in this regiment?
