Many thanks. All of the guys and ladies are so helpful on this forum. I had found Annie's grave, too, in findagrave, and have asked the person who had taken it for permission to use it. However, no response so far. If anybody has a picture of the gravestone , I'd appreciate a scan and permission to use it. There is a picture of her on a Quantrill site but it is copyrighted and I can't find a way to get in touch with the owner of the site. Anybody know the owner of the Canty-Myers collection?
I found a lengthy article on some of the rebel , guerilla women who were run out of Missouri by the Federals and Unionists, or who fled in order to survive - which I will be glad to email you if you'd like to have it.
