Same from me Bruce, lots of help on this one. I am attempting to draw a picture of Mill locations for Missouri and their subsequent effect of the war on its locality. There are Mills along the Arkansas Missouri border that I am attempting to reconstruct and questions about them will soon follow. Much of the EMM and the MSM efforts were involved in running down guerrilla units who were basing operations near one or several mills. It would seem Coleman's efforts, who is only one of many examples, always hinged on operating near one or several mills when in Missouri. It is easy to understand when one thinks of them as a grocery store.
