Since you told us Captain Nevins was buried at Wilton, now we know this Union raid was southwest of present-day Ashville and across the Missouri River from Sandy Hook in northeast Moniteau County. Terry, if you are reading this, you now know a bit better where Lindsay's Mill was located. It goes to show that information comes in from all directions.
