It's good to hear from you, and thank you for providing that information about your ancestor. Since you told us Captain Nevins was buried at Wilton, now we know this Union raid was southwest of present-day Ashville and across the Missouri River from Sandy Hook in northeast Moniteau County. Terry, if you are reading this, you now know a bit better where Lindsay's Mill was located. It goes to show that information comes in from all directions.
