Thanks. I was remembering of the top of my head about the location. I think I have confessed before on this forum about not knowing directions - sad but true. Emily's letters are full of references to all the young officers the Batesville belles are meeting, and they were having a grand time - probably the best time they all had during the war - and for a long time afterward.
