For clarification/correction, the flag was found by an auction helper getting ready for the estate sale stuffed in the side drawer of a 19th century wooden treadle sewing machine that was stored in a garage. The auction staff had put the flag in a cigar box when I went to the sale the day before the event to inspect the flag.
