Alan.
The Ordinance Sergeant Robert L. Bliss letters would be of great interest, since he was a member of Wood's-Lowrey's Brigade. About how many letters are there, and have any been transcribed?
The inspection reports for memebers of Lowrey's Brigade from August and September 1864 would be of interest. The 32nd & 8th Miss. were consolidated at that time, as well as the 3rd Miss. Battl. and 5th Miss. I don't recall if the 16th, 33rd and 45th Alabama regiments were consolidated yet.
Can these documents be scanned and emailed, or do you want to make copies and snail mail them to me? I will be glad to reimburse any costs for copying and mailing.
Thanks.
