Gregg,

Are you just compiling casualty lists or also battle narratives for Shiloh?

Both my g.g.g.grandfather and his brother were wounded on morning of April 6th, 1862 at Shiloh (PVT John J.N.Nash and 2nd SGT Ira M. Nash of Co B, 5th MS Infantry Regiment)... my g.g.g.grandfather John survived but his brother Ira died of his wound later that day.

I know that their cousin Ben Nash of the 9th or 10th MS was also wounded that morning.... shot in shoulder while saving the Regimental colors.

Write me direct, I am working on a family history book and have quite a bit of info related to 5th Mississippi.... but am interested in 5th MS casualty list for Shiloh.

Sincerely, Len R.
