Law is established to maintain order. When law is held in disrespect, then you have chaos and disorder

Hitler and Stalin made the same argument. Were you alive in those nations, would you be content to go happily goose stepping down the street breaking Jew heads or would you believe in civil disobedience? Is your respect for the laws of men so strong that you would blindly follow a law no matter what it's import? What country's laws are good and what bad, since you seem to believe every law of nations was deliveried from Mount Sinai. Hitler and Stalin both were put into office with the good will of the citizens. Those who followed the laws of their land wound up killing millions upon millions of people. At the Nuremberg trial, their plead of obeying the law did not play well. It left them drifting softly in the breeze.

You asked me in a previous post if I would start a war to end something I think wrong, like abortion (I do think it wrong). No, I would not. Now please answer my question, if your family and you were slaves, would you try to escape to freedom or does your love of the law supersede that of your family and freedom. If you would keep yourself and your children in chattel slavery because you respect the law of the land..oh so much...then sir, the law has a great follower. Which reminds me of one Saul of Tarsus a great follower of the law also.
