Right you are!. We don't do P.R. We are an assault force and have always been. The P.R. is better left to people who know more about that than destroying the enemy.
I have read that on the islands of the Pacific in WW2 that Japanese soldiers who wanted to surrender, did so only after they confirmed that the Marines had moved on, and they were dealing with the Army troops mopping up and garrisoning the island. Apparently the Marines were short on being nice and allowing surrender. I have also read theat in Korea the Chinese called us "Crazy Yellow Legs" due to the Khaki Leggings worn by the Grunts. Evidently the jarheads did something to our asian brothers to make them wary. P.R.....? I think not.
