You have mistaken my quest for data ,i.e 'information', as a quest for quality. I apologize for the misunderstanding. My query was a question of quantity. The majority of post below was dangerously heading into the repremand stage. Jim would rather we police ourselves. I have had to regret answering post that strayed way off course. We have some very talented posters that excel in dragging Civil War related subjects off into another historical deminsion, or worse, no historical deminsion. If we the users of this board do not take an active roll, Jim will.

It is the 'Civil War News and Views Open Discussion Forum'. Which I interpet to be that we post something related to Civil War, in some way or fashion.

Mark, check my post, check my post on Fort Pillow. It's over 70 hits now on reads. I don't think our visitors numbers are down at all, in fact its probably up since this same time last year.
