Norman,

Do you find the "was slavery the cause" and "was secession legal" discussions interesting? Are you folks still fighting it out between the Scots and the Brits? Who was right Cromwell or the Crown? Are there similar, non-violent, but permanent divisions in the UK, that resemble anything approximating the divisions in the US between North and South?
