Well, this IS "history"
In Response To: Where's the history? ()

"History" is not about listing names, dates, or blandly presenting primary evidence for others to read. Of course, those things are historical and part of the study, but they are only the pieces of the puzzle. Historical data by itself is NOT good "history." History is the study of this material, and the formation of theories, ideas and conclusions. It is putting a meaning to the data.

Discussion is necessary for putting this meaning together. "Chatting" about the data is, to varying degrees, what "history" really is.
