Indeed we do Bryan. I usually handle any artillery aspects of such ceremonies while some fellow SCV compatriots will serve as honor guard or color guard. We most recently (July 3rd at the exact time of day 145 years after the fact) helped with the dedication of a granite bench that was placed on Gettysburg Hill in Hollywood Cemetery next to Major General George Pickett's grave. The bench was donated by actor Stephen Lang in honor of Michael Shaara, the author of the book "The Killer Angels". A book that led to the two films "Gettysburg" (Lang as Pickett) and "Gods and Generals" (Lang as Jackson). A book that I believe spurred a renewed interest in WBTS research and study by some folks that maybe had never given the matter serious consideration. I'm happy to say that marble and granite stones have sprouted all over Hollywood Cemetery in the last ten or so years. I think the info that is readily available on the internet and the exchange of info with people like us that participate on this message board have led to this resurgence of interest in honoring our ancestors that served in the war. If you ever get to Virginia, look me up and I'll take or lead you to some really hallowed ground near where I live. I feel truly blessed to be living in the cradle of American history..........Virginia.
