I will not be a part of the "Confederates" thread, but I will comment on it. Some of this exchange has been quite harsh and undoubtedly feelings have been hurt due to "zingers" and personal insults. I have blocked, at least one posting from our friend Mr. "rdfx" which was strongly worded, but well thought out and acceptable on this site. Unfortunately, the last sentence went over the top and compared American soldiers to Al-Qaeda or Radical Islamic terrorists. No such posting comparing Union or Confederate or any other American soldiers and sailors will EVER be allowed here.

May I ask that you thoroughly "proof" your postings and leave out any personal attacks or those unnecessary "zingers" at the end of many good messages, which disqualify them for display on this site?

And finally, to George, I'm proud of your fortitude in acting as an observer, rather than a participant in the highly-charged "Confederates" thread.
