Jim, I guess I am to blame for starting this fire but I was just trying to be of help. I tell you truthfully I feel like the Braxton Bragg of posters, well meaning but totally inept in carrying out my plans.

A fierce loyalty to the Confederate soldiers good name does not do him justice though unless we pick up where he left off. I don't want anybody ever thinking my heart doesn't swell with pride when I think of the men who charged the lines at Gettysburg and Franklin. I am not ashamed of showing this either. I think you can ask just anybody in my home town about my feelings and they will confirm this. A local pastor even refers to me as his "rebel brother".

But I am saddened when I see folks disrespecting our country. I personally know some who claim they despise "that yankee flag". Let's just say we don't communicate often. Don't they realize that Southern blood has bought that flag as well as anybody. Can they not be grateful to Almighty God for their blessings and show a little courtesy to our veterans. And to make a point, every veteran I know served under the Stars & Stripes.

I'll try to do better in the future and I apologize if I caused anybody grief.

P.S. to George... I'm proud of you too but I know it is hard to bite down and try not to let loose. Believe me, it would relieve some stress LOL!!!
