Don't you think that today’s constant barrage of attacks against all things Confederate enough to get "ones dander up." I get up in the morning make a LARGE cup of coffee and then I start addressing issues where various people have made some sort of an attack on something Confederate. I stay on the computer until noon or after running down facts and writing responses. I do not hide behind an alias nor do I post insulting remarks, yet I have been the target of threats several times. As I said I do this every day because there are too few of us willing to stand up and fight against these slanderous attacks. To me this is pretty doggone personal.

That being said the remarks that got the board stirred up were your own opinions about good people, honest people, real people, including me. I think the same adjectives could be applied to those who have Union ancestors, true?? Just in my own opinion the worst people on this earth for either the Blue or Gray is those who wouldn't know the truth if it fell on them. They are the same ones I deal with day after day, their only goal is to do away with anything Confederate, to have things their way, and they will stoop to any level to do so.

Intentional or not, your one paragraph put us in the same category.
