James, I well remember that tune. It may be a little rough around the edges but it sure don't beat around the bush.

Yep, as the song says, "the hobo drifted up the rails" and real piece of history is gone. I know you know this already but Hank was taught to play guitar by a black street musician named Rufus "Tee-tot" Payne. Check out this tribute to him by Hank Jr. I do declare you can close your eyes and see cotton fields and run down shacks in this song. The music of the slaves still touches today, does it not?
