Actually George, I was thinking of the 64th NC Infantry. That's a touchy subject with me at times for various reasons. Civilians pay a high price in war. The old Confederacy paid that price, but so did the Unionist of East TN and West NC. No doubt why we of the South...I included myself ...get more emotional than a lot of folks who's roots are strictly from the North. East TN was like Missouri, it was family against family, brother against brother, friend against friend. I don't know how it turned out in Missouri, but it left a whole lot of lingering hate in Appalachia.
