Sounds as if you're of the opinion Longstreet was not an honorable man. Whatever the thoughts of his detractors regarding his actions or abilities, I don't think they attacked his honor, unless you include the attacks on his loyalty to the Confederacy after the war. There is currently an attempt to "rehabilitate" Longstreet's reputation. I'm not picking a side in this discussion, though the General was a Georgian in his later years.
